Tuesday Feb 7,2012

Outa bed at 5:30 and on the shuttle by 6:40. Westjet staff were ready to accept us for the flight to Cancun. Customs was a breeze, they did remind us that Mexico is very sensitive to damaged passports. If your pass port has water marks, rips or tears, otherwised damaged in any way they have been known to refuse your entry into their country. That means you have to take the next available flight out. If that could take a while you are automatically sent to prison. Prison time in Mexico is beyond your wildest nightmares.

We had earlier booked a taxi through Abbey Transportation, Puerto Morelos, who met us at the airport and took us to Superama and La Europea where we picked   food and drink to get us started on our holiday. By 3 o'clock we were in our Casa at de los Viajeros knocking back some cold Victoria cervecas we just found in our fridge. Nice and cold - Oh, they tasted soooo gooood!

Time to eat again - we walked down town and had a lovely dinner at La Panza es Primero (the stomach is first) Edith and I ate garlic shrimp while Bob and Allan has fillet of fish. Delicious!!

Westjet flight number 2580 getting ready to make its early morning flight with us on it
As is usual, Allan sits by the window so he can see all there is to see from way up there and I sit in the middle seat so I can sleep and not be distrubed.

I did it again, I went to sleep when I got on the plane and didn't wake up until we had been in the air for half an hour. My snoring always wakes me up - at least that's what Allan tells me that loud snort is that causes me to wake up.

Today's flight was on of the better ones we have had - visability was awesome through
 out the entire flight.
 Yoo, Cancun here we come!!

A fresh seafood display at Superama yesterday, OMG, it looked so good!

This is the view from the restraunt where we had dinner this evening
