Tuesday March 6, 2012

It's Tuesday ):

Another angry grey sky - the inclement weather seems to be making the inevitable trip home a little easier to face but I will be still leaving under duress.

Construction is still in progress throughout the town, the sidewalk out  to the highway is almost completed. That will be nice to come back to. The present path is very rough with stones sticking up in the most unsuspecting places, I am always looking around at something and not where I am walking. Allan has caught me several times from falling on my face.

Looks like bathrooms (banos) are going up in the park. I certainly hope so, many a time I could use one while down town

No fishermen out today because of the high
winds so pelicans and gulls just  hang out

Killing time

Work being done on the roof of the building I showed you yesterday - wish we were here to film its completion.

 One shop owner resting

The beach has very few people on it today

Someone has been tough and bit the bullet, they have made sand creatures

This gull found a dead fish on shore,
he is going to have a great meal!!

Our beach combing expedition today rewarded us with these items, 4 hamburger sea beans bottom right, 4 palm nuts bottom left  and the 6 items at the back are ??? who knows.
............

We are all packed, just last minute things to go into
the suit cases in the morning.  It is now 4 o'clock in the afternoon, I am doing the blog, the other 3 are reading while snoozing off and on. More snoozing I think than reading.

Dinner is the next big event of the day, we have all decided it will be seafood just where is the current question.

That really was not a difficult decision, this has been our favourite place to eat, last year and this year.

They have a great food selection, food is awesome and the prices are quite reasonable...

and the view is beautiful as well. Tonight they had
wind guards drawn so we were protected from the
strong winds which blew all day at 30 km per hour plus with stronger gusts coming in off the ocean.

Out there somewhere is a cruise ship

After dinner everything is quiet, not many people around

Tomorrow is another day, we fly out at approximately 3:50  in the afternoon so it may be a day or two before you get another blog posting. I will let you know when we get home so keep checking in.

Good Night!!
