WELCOME TO FRIDAY IN PUERTO MORELOS

I wonder what today will bring????

The weather man says more hot, sunny, beautiful weather - Yippee!!!

They have a new web cam in Puerto Morleos - instant live - you must check it out.

Early morning sunrise

This couple spent the night

To every one's dismay, the property  across the street from us - which has been vacant for years - is now subdivided into 15 lots and is for sale - according the to poster 3 have been sold already. Wish we could afford one - anyone of the lots would be nice to own but I would prefer an ocean view. If I find out the cost of these lots I will let you know.

A view of one street in the morning at about 9:30 ish

More flowers girls!

This lady sells produce from her door step - never smiles - I think she is related to the man in the rocking chair. Oh, did I tell you that man is back? We don't see him often but he has been seen. I'm  so happy nothing serious happened to him. - he was likely in Cancun investing his money.

Laundry day again - this year we have to do our own sheets and towels along with our clothing so it seems we are there every day - some days we have been there twice - drop off and pick up at the same time.

The Tejones are out again - only see them early in the morning. They don't seem to be aggressive this year - perhaps they are getting fed regularly.

I seem to only get inside pics of the church by the square,
here is what it looks like from the street.

Pics about town

Sign says Bikecycles for rent - they have as much trouble with English as we
do with Spanish, you have to admit it is eye catching

These children are holding a parade in honour of the 40th anniversary of their school.

I bet this lady had sore feet by the end of the day!

We went back to the little restaurant across from the Mayan Market again, Allan had an Omelet and I have eggs ranchero, that and coffee (Sanka instant) with hot milk cost less that $10.00 Cdn.

I guess you could say this meal is in celebration of completing our 4 hours of Spanish lessons, we have learned 10 ne phrases, we are very proud of ourselves.

The only cool place to be today - it is sooooo hot. That is not a complaint!.

Once this property (mentioned earlier in this post) is built on we will no longer have this view.

We ate dinner at David Lau's tonight - Allan had the pork stir-fry

Sorry to say so Bob - but I had the coconut shrimp - Don't you wish???????

We ate outside on the sidewalk so this was our view. Rudy is working there this year - Valerie has moved on - no one seems to know much as to why and where but this being a small town we will likely find out before we go home.

Tonight's pictures of the Moon Cactus

We managed to arrive back home tonight before the rain came.

Take care, hope you aren't snowed in - can't say we miss it.

We have used Skype a lot this year, the kids have been  talking with us  every day, sometimes more - nice to keep up with what is happening at home .
