To cold for a walk on the beach this morning so we slept in

and later treated ourselves to breakfast at Cassa Caribe

                           Ann enjoyed her tropical kiss drink - Strawberry and Orange Juices mixed.

Later in the morning Ann and I went to the Mayan Jungle Market in the Colonia while  Allan visited friends he has made with over the years who operate shop outlets in the Mayan Handicraft Market here in town.

When we got back to our condo we found this family of four gathering coconuts. Dad was up in the tree cutting them down, Mom was gathering them as they fell and putting them in the cart.

I got out a puppet and played with the children for a short while, the little one didn't want to have much to do with me but the older only was entertained with my antics and Spanglish.

This elderly (hard looking) lady is a regular site in Puerto Morelos this year, she is from the Colonia and begs along the beach by day and streets by night for money. Her male companion collects aluminium cans from garbage cans and along the streets. Work on the street indicated they are not poor. Who knows for sure?

When we all returned back to our condo after morning activities we took to the beach

I am not sure what is going on here with Allan, he  is without underwear at the moment or he is with "wet" underwear. Either way he does not look comfortable. You see, he left his shorts and underwear on the edge of the tub after he changed into his bathing suit earlier in the day. Ann later decided to have a shower and while climbing into the tub she accidentally pushed Allan's underwear in too. She didn't realize what she had done until the underwear was very, very wet.

We went down town or dinner - remember I said eating is not a necessity here it is a luxury? We were sitting on the beach today and Ann while looking at here wrist watch said - Hmmm, in 2 and a half hours it will be supper time.

We ate at La  Panza es Primero (the stomach is first), Ann is putting deep thought into what she is going to have for dinner,

Whatever it was she certainly savoured every mouth full.  Ann has certainly enjoyed the food here, she agrees that every restaurant serves delicious food and lot of it.

The weather is warming up, hopefully tomorrow with be more like Mexican weather!!
