Feb 6, 2013

Our first full day in Puerto Morelos, it was a slow start this morning
but we did get out for a short walk -

Wednesday morning the market is set up beside the church - we shop here or at the colonia for our produce - everything is so fresh and delicious. Everything tastes as good as it looks - no surprises like we get at home.
This little market is a great place to meet old friends and make new ones

Then we stopped at a little restaurant for coffee - I love these cups!

Tonight we had dinner at El Pesquero, the photo above is the appetizer served prior to the meal - our friend Exavior was the waiter. He was very happy to see us again and asked about Bob and Edith. They are not travelling with us this year, much to the disappointment of many people here that know them and to us of course.

We stopped at Cantina Habanero again for a nightcap  and  a nice visit with Nat - she was asking about Bob and Edith too

It takes a while to get acclimatised to the hot weather - bed time early tonight
