Here we are at week #12 already, over have way through our vacation for this winter!

Even Santa came to share time with us on Christmas Eve.
We celebrated Christmas Eve with our Mexican friend and neighbour Claudia, her mom and sister. We also had a couple of Canadians for dinner with us too - Laura from BC and Maurice from Winnipeg. It was a pot luck dinner, new dishes for all of us to try. One of the hits was a fruit cake my aunt Maimie made and sent down with us. It was delicious, thanks Maimie!

Christmas Day called for another feast, this time Howard and Theresa and Gaston and Louise Begin joined us. It was another wonderful get together with great food.
The kids didn't feel it was like Christmas without a huge tree, lots of presents and snow on the ground. They returned home on the 28th( with -21 degree temperatures) to have Christmas with Nancy's family on the 29th, then on to the Island to have their own. I have not heard any more on the subject but I expect they enjoyed their own Christmas at home even though it was a few days later.
We enjoyed the kid's visit - it was wonderful having them here with us.
