This morning we left Cuba Tow Head at about 7:45, the day started out to be somewhat cloudy and a cool 43 degrees F. It did warm up later in the day thankfully.
The early morning clouds made for great sunrise photos.
Today we left the Ohio River and headed up the Cumberland River to Green Turtle Marina and Resort.

The balance of the days trip was very quiet and relaxing, very little traffic which was a pleasant change.
A limestone quarry
This is the Barkley Lock, our last lock before Green Turtle at Grand Rivers Ky where the Fracas will be docked for a few days.

Once through the lock we fast approached
the Green Turtle Bay Marina.
Wow, wouldn't it be nice to spend a day on this one!
Our first stop was a pump out - much needed after 7 days on the water.
