Welcome to Monday, just today and tomorrow then we head back to Canada on Wednesday - Bummer ):
For information purposes, when you look at the blog archives on the right side of the blog page you may see a number higher than one beside the date (ie: March 4; March 1, etc). This means there were more than one post done that day. To read additional posts for that day make sure you go to the bottom of the page post and click on older posts or newer posts - this
depends on which post you are viewing for that day, the first one or the next one(s). I hope I haven't left you confused, I am sure if you are it won't be for long.
Every Monday morning the garbage trucks are out
gathering the weekend's collection of trash
I found more flowers for the flower lovers
Only in Mexico! There have been workers at this building since we came four weeks ago, they have been working on the inside installing shelving, flooring etc., now they have taken the roof off! Go figure!!!

This little fellow is working hard at putting sticks in behind the wall covering - he is really proud of his efforts.
We picked up our last load of laundry this morning.
The large bean in the centre is a heart sea bean which I purchased. The others are sea beans from our beach collectibles of yesterday. Among these are two palm nuts while the rest are the "hamburger or deer's eye" sea beans. They have been polished by a fellow in the market at the far end of town.
We joined our friend Kris at this restaurant in the Colonia today for empanadas and tacos- were they delicious!!!!!! One day we will be back!!!
This is the owner and chef
His wife on the left and our friend Kris on the right.
Kris thanks for today's true Mexican experience, we have fond memories of today and look forward to returning here on our next time back to Puerto Morelos - Thank you so much!!
This little restaurant serves draught beer - Edith got a big one!!! Now is that a drink or is that a drink?

Then we took drive through Villas Morelos II
to see new homes for sale
This is the road way between Villas Morelos I and II - there is
soon to be a Villas Morelos III in the near future
When we were finished our afternoon with Kris the four of us went to Playa Del Carmen for the rest of the day.
A candid shot of a passer by at the bus stop
