A beautiful cool morning in Puerto Morelos this morning- even the water was cold on the feet when you walked in it.

There will only be brave Mexicans and gringo sun worshipers on the beach today.

Someones sand art left from yesterday

MORE FOOD!!!! We had brunch with friends at Casa Caribe again today. The dishes brought to our table were: Crapes - who says they are not healthy. Each was filled with sliced apples and covered in honey - served with pecans, blue berries and ice cream. Yummmmy!

scrambled eggs

Eggs Benedict

omelet

Flowers we saw on our way to the laundromat

Our favourite taxi driver Emilio, brought us a dish of ceviche his wife makes - Delicious!!

Several shops are located South of the square - each shop worker  encourages
you to go in and spend your money.

The weather is strange today - one of those days that goes from hot to cool then hot again.

This fisherman is cleaning his boat. They do this after each trip out

Pelicans and gulls wait patiently for scraps from the fisherman as they clean their catch

This fisherman is cleaning a barracuda

This little fellow is in sweat pants

Some of the few that ventured into the water today

This evening we had dinner at Ojo de Agua Restaurant

Tonight's pics of the Moon Cactus

Good Night  - Buenas Noches!!

We are looking forward to another great night of sleep - we have to get rested up for the kids. Clinton, Leigh and the two little ones leave home tomorrow for Toronto, they then fly into Cancun on Tuesday for a wonderful week in the sun!!

The start of another beautiful day in "PARADISE"

We are so grateful for the privilege of being able to come here for vacation

The moring sky is a beautiful pink to the North of us this morning

Severe rain last night made huge trenches in the sand in various places.

The ocean organic waste is usually up on the beach in the morning, not this morning, it remains on the waters edge rolling with the waves.

Foxy is having a short sit while out on her morning walk with her master

I hope you see the sun's rays here - gorgeous

We watch the eye, as it watches us

Neat the way that happened

Those rays are beautiful, are they what you would call Angel Rays?
I must admit, I am never up this early at home but we must get them there too.

One of nature's creations

A little sand crab has made a new home

This is the most amount of damage we saw, the water from the rain has washed the sand away from the end of the cement covered street

Here is the same damaged area from a different view - you can see the sandbags are exposed. It would appear they have had this problem here before.

another one of the many condos on the beach

Our beach cleaner - he is always out early in the morning.

Swimmers practicing for their upcoming competition

An unfinished housing unit on our street - it has been here for as long as we have been coming here so we don't know when it was originally built or why it was never completed. Doesn't really matter I guess, it is an eyesore and a waste of good land.

These are the gardens of the condo next to us

We made a trip with a friend into Cancun to La Europea (the party store)

Love the golf cart

In this mall they also have a star bucks

Sam's Club, Walmart and many other small stores. Sam's and Walmart were our main points if interest today.

Tonight we tried out a new restaurant that just opened - best guacamole in town!!

We sat outside, the night view was unique, just what you would expect from a small fishing village

I am chuckling over the size of Allan's cerveza

him too!

I am glad I ordered the Pacifico!!

Guacamole appetizer

I love the shrimp, can't you tell? Thinking back - I order them often.

Allan ordered the breaded fish

It is quite cool here this evening, so instead of ice cream we stopped by the food stand in the park and ordered crepes with banana and nutella for me and banana and caramel for Allan. We had to go to the market to purchase the banana first.

Vendors set up in the park nightly, some selling jewellery while others sell paintings, pottery, etc.

Tonight looks like the peak for these beautiful blossoms

Another pretty potted flowering plant

Good Night All , Sweat Dreams!!

The weather has really cooled off here this evening, everyone is wearing long pants and jackets. It will be a great night for sleeping - and no humming from the ceiling fan either.
