Today the wind is just a slight breeze coming from the South, oh man, it is sunny and hot, hot, hot!!!! How we are thinking of each of you back home wishing you were here to enjoy it with us.

These pictures could lead to a great story for children

OMG!! This looks like a hard night's morning!  Do we really let our children play with dolls that are found on the beach  naked and frazzled?

We see several of these holes on the beach, they are made by a sand crab, I believe it is the ghost crab.

You certainly would not want to be climbing this tree now would you. Those are spikes!!!

 A beautiful Sunday afternoon at the beach. Sunday is family day and people come from miles around. Babies, parents, grandparent and great grandparents. The youngest we met was 3 weeks old!!

All streets in town are lined on both sides with cars on Sundays

 Fresh fish is brought into our restaurant while we ate dinner

I think Bob must have had a second helping, he was a long time finishing his dinner of garlic shrimp.

Welcome to another day in Puerto Morelos

These Iguana are saying good morning to Ava and Jed

We were at the beach this morning to see part of the swimming competition

Had a photo op with some members of the local civil protection officers. The little guy in the flower shirt works for the policia preventiva.

The groups of swimmers resemble a sharks feeding frenzy

Fire trucks and ambulances were at the meet on standby 

The park was a buzz with a mini  to the "Knox United Church Rummage Sale" The funds raised are going to the El Mundo Puerto Morelos - which is a charity set up to support the children and families of Puerto Morelos. It is through this charity that we sponsor our 2 children for education

Today we purchased delicious hot dogs and some books in support of the cause.
